Emergencies can happen at any time. That’s why it’s important to be prepared and know where to go when you need medical care – fast. The emergency medicine team at Chester Regional Medical Center provides care to patients in Chester, South Carolina, and surrounding areas when they need it most.

Our highly trained staff can provide care for everything from cuts and broken bones to life-threatening conditions such as heart attack or stroke. We provide efficient, prompt and compassionate care, and offer:

Emergency services are provided for all persons presenting to the emergency department. Triage is provided for all patients upon entry to the ER by qualified person to determine the category of care based on the assessment at entry. Patients are classified as critical, emergent, urgent, and non-urgent. The Pro-Med System (computer based) is utilized for patient care planning, test/procedure orders, patient tracking, data collection, quality review, billing, physician documentation and generation of reports.
