Surgical Services & Staff

Chester Regional Medical Center’s surgical teams bring the latest training and technology to their patients. Specializations include general, orthopedic, urologic, gynecologic, ENT, ophthalmology, vascular, and podiatry. A range of minimally invasive services is offered including pain management procedures.

Surgical Services at Chester Regional Medical Center employs well-trained and qualified staff. Employees consist of Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses, all who are ACLS and PALS certified. Surgical Nurses are Certified Operating Room Nurses through the Association of Operating Room Nurses and the Surgical Technologist are also certified.


Outpatient Procedures

Outpatient procedures are admitted through the Same Day Services department and receive individual special care. Services such as IV therapy, blood transfusions, and minor procedures are also seen through Same Day Services, in addition to outpatient surgical procedures.

 


Endoscopy & Other Services

Endoscopy is another service offered through Surgical Services. Colonoscopies, Bronchoscopies, and EGD’s are some of the endoscopic procedures scheduled.



Anesthesia Services

Anesthesia Services at Chester Regional Medical Center are top rate in the area. The department consists of Board Certified Anesthesiologist and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists.

 


Cardiac Catherization Services

New to Surgical Services this year but not new to the facility is Cardiac Cath Lab. The Cath Lab is a state of the art technology with the capabilities to perform multiple interventional studies. Some of these studies include heart catherization and invasive radiological procedures. Our staff is highly qualified and decorated in Cardiac Catherization services.
