Speech-Language Pathology

Speech-Language Pathologists address communication problems as well as swallowing dysfunction.  The focus is on improving speech-language expression, comprehension, and oral motor skills.  Treatment of swallowing disorders focuses on development of strategies to insure safety, improve oral motor strength and coordination and increase tolerance of a variety of food/liquid textures.  Speech therapy may include:

• Dysphagia Management
• Cognitive Rehabilitation
• Dysarthria
• Apraxia
